The location was perfect for us because it was in a rural area, away from the city noise. We had a blast visiting both Bai Dinh Temple and Bich Dong Temple, which were nearby. The homestay had all the facilities we needed, including a swimming pool to cool off after a hot day exploring. The food was delicious, especially the organic dishes made by Scott and his wife. The atmosphere was amazing, and we felt like we were truly experiencing the local culture.

The only thing we wished for was more nightlife options for us young party-goers. We had an incredible time during the day, but at night, there wasn't much happening around the homestay.

Exceeded all expectations. Great place for traveling to Ninh Binh and sightseeing. Marvellous setting, close enough to Ninh Binh and the train station and the mua caves and view point. Btw, located in the area.

Scott and his beautiful family were beyond incredible, providing jaw-dropping hospitality and mind-blowing meals. The comfortable rooms were super clean and the pool was a great addition. The off-the-beaten-path excursions were a must-do, and Scott's wife's Vietnamese dishes were absolutely delicious. We can't wait to come back!

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The accommodation provided everything we needed and more. Despite being further away from the centre, we loved that all the sights in the surrounding area were easily accessible. It was a quiet and peaceful place to relax, and the family who runs the place were incredibly warm-hearted and genuinely concerned about our well-being. The private tour with Scott was an absolute highlight and highly recommended. we cannot recommend this place enough, it was simply fantastic!

clean rooms - nice location in a quiet area - friendly owner who gave great local insights, and helpful with organizing activities - like sightseeings and trekings or car driving to the sightseeings. They also offer delicious vegetarian dinner.

I had an incredible stay at Family Homestay & Organic Restaurant. From the moment I arrived, Scott and his family made me feel like part of their own. the hospitality was amazing and the meals they prepared were delicious. the comfortable rooms and glimpse into Vietnamese culture made this homestay a truly unique experience. Whether you're traveling alone or with a group, I highly recommend staying here to truly experience the best of Vietnam. Cons: Nothing to fault. 👌.

The location of the homestay is absolutely stunning, with large windows in the room that overlook a beautiful forest. It's close to Hoa Lu + ancient capital and the Am Tien cave, perfect for exploring the region. the room is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. the owner and his family provide excellent service and the breakfast is delicious. the homestay also offers facilities like a swimming pool and a lovely garden.

The taxi ride to the main attractions in Tam Coc can be a bit expensive.
